Hi Matt, just finished the CNC'ing of my hexapod chassis, about to try assembling some of the parts and i was wondering how you managed to get the servos to mount into the aluminium instead of using a servo horn...its not a major thing for me but it will save a fair bit of space and allow for a much slimmer profile. The guy in the engineering deptartment at my uni who makes all the stuff in the workshop didnt think it was possible.

Hi Alex... anything is possible, given enough time and money!! accept maybe time travel... ;)

When I was working on the Harry Potter movies we had special servo spline punches custom made to match Futaba, Hitech and other splines. The splines are then pressed into a tight fit hole in the aluminium parts.
